In honor of Sasuke's birthday XD, I have gotten him a Kakashi. Kind of.

This picture is reasonably worksafe, only warnings would be for a shirtless man and some pre-smooching. And fluff. FLUFF.

It's accompanied by a short piece that frackin_sweet wrote, because I think it makes the picture a whole lot better ^___^



 
Distraction

It almost reminds Sasuke of when he was a child. The sweet parts of childhood, relaxed and happy with someone he knew loved him. It was a long, long time ago, but it is still a vivid memory.

The feelings are almost the same, as he sits with Kakashi's head in his lap, watching his lover read a dog-eared, sticky-paged Icha Icha for the umpteenth time.

And yet, the feelings are very deliciously different, as he drinks in the sight of the long, shirtless body in front of him. Wide shoulders, chiseled muscle definition, even at rest. Pale skin, made no less imperfect for its criscrossing scars here and there. The hard planes of chest rising and falling slowly. Flat, efficient abdominal muscles unblurred by even an ounce of excess flesh. The sharp line of hip, disappearing into faded old pants that are less used to be worn than they are to being on the floor.

Sasuke trails a languid finger up, from elbow to shoulder. Up the thick tendon in the neck where he can still see the faded pink imprint of his own teeth. There is a twitch, and a little catch in Kakashi's normally even breathing.

This time Sasuke drags his fingertips across Kakashi's collarbone, hesitating at the vulnerable hollow of his throat. "Am I distracting you?" he asks.

The question earns him a noncommittal "Hmm?"

Sasuke realizes he sometimes pays far too little attention to Kakashi's face. It's an understandable oversight, considering the lean perfection of the man's body.

But right now, he wants to memorize these features, the graceful hollow of the eyesocket, even the scarred one. The little bump at the bridge of the twice-broken nose. The scar above the upper lip, and the slightly chapped lips themselves. The texture of the weekend's-worth of stubble roughening the jaw.

Kakashi's lips curve in a bit of a smile.

Sasuke thinks perhaps his hands are more eloquent than he could ever hope his words to be. He strokes his thumbs slowly along the curve of cheekbones. Up and down, lazy and soft.

"Am I distracting you?" Sasuke asks again, more quietly, leaning down a bit to look into the heavy-lidded, mismatched eyes. It always makes him a little dizzy, and he loves it. He feels long fingers slide up the back of his neck, and suddenly he is breathing faster. "No?"

He leans down further. "I thought you'd never figure out a good way to motivate me to...try harder...Sensei," he whispers, and feels Kakashi's fingers tangle hard in his hair as he smiles against those lips, open in a sharp intake of breath.

omg you two are a force to be reckoned with! that pic is absolutely fantastic! i really love the positioning of the two of them - kakashi pulling sasuke down to kiss him, his hand in his hair, kakashi's fucking awesome stomach muscles :D totally glorious!!!

^__^ I LOOOOOOOVE KakaSasu. That's the pairing that got me into fandom at all, in the first place - and I've been doing them for almost three years now @__@ It's kind of crazy, when I think about it!

And yes, let's be friends!
